This is Donna Sharps of Quilts By Donna, contemporary interpertation of the traditional Wedding Ring pattern. Donna takes on a look of Victorian elegance with its small, delicate rings. The rings are pieced from carefully selected tiny print fabrics from garden green to soft sienna. These are then set on a summer wheat background. In the center of each ring are four hand quilted hearts. Each section of the ring is then double hand quilted. The scalloped and pointed edges adds to the detailed beauty. The quilt reverses to a sienna and sage print and bears Donnas embroidered signature and date. Shown here is the F/Q which measures 106" x 96".
